Terms of Service

Effective Date: 25 February 2026

PRVEN is a UK-based digital identity verification registry operated by a sole trader in England and Wales.

PRVEN records user-initiated biometric verification events and generates timestamped verification records.

PRVEN is not:

  • A government authority
  • A certification body
  • A notary, regulator, or official registry
  • A legal identity provider
  • A fraud prevention service
  • A background check provider
  • A continuous authentication system

Verification reflects only the outcome of an automated biometric comparison at the time it was performed.

You must be at least 18 years old to use PRVEN.

Both individuals and businesses may use the Service.

Verification confirms that:

  • A biometric liveness check was performed; and
  • A similarity comparison was completed;
  • At a specific point in time.

Verification does not:

  • Confirm government-issued identity documents
  • Guarantee ongoing identity authenticity
  • Prevent impersonation
  • Prevent fraud
  • Guarantee lawful behaviour

Any person relying on a verification record does so entirely at their own risk.

The Service relies on third-party biometric processing and cloud hosting providers.

PRVEN is not liable for:

  • Errors in third-party processing
  • API failures
  • Infrastructure outages
  • Data transmission delays
  • Service interruptions

You must not:

  • Misrepresent your identity
  • Impersonate another person
  • Use PRVEN for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the Service
  • Attempt to scrape or index verification records

PRVEN may suspend or revoke access at its sole discretion.
